GE Monogram won Best of Show at ‘Dwell on Design’ Los Angeles 2014

Back in May, I had the opportunity to shoot a stunning exhibit for GE Monogram at the ‘Dwell on Design’ expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center.  The large island exhibit was designed and fabricated by Deckel & Moneypenny in Louisville, KY.  The principal designer and project manager was D&M’s Design Director, Steve Deckel.

I recently learned, and am delighted to report, that GE Monogram (and by extension, Deckel & Moneypenny) won Best of Show at Dwell.  This is a very big deal… Dwell on Design/LA is America’s largest interior design event.  Congrats to both GE and Deckel & Moneypenny.

GE Monogram makes beautifully designed, high-end kitchen appliances. See their products (and my photos!) at www.monogram.com.

Deckel & Moneypenny Exhibits is an award-winning (obviously) full-service exhibit house in Louisville, KY.  Learn more at deckelmoneypenny.com.

As you can tell, these shots were taken late in the evening, after the show had closed and after most of the convention center lights had been dimmed.  I shoot with ambient light only.  The drama of the shots is a testament to the exhibit’s flawless lighting design.

I was honored to be able to document this spectacular exhibit!

Enjoy!
