I keep making noises about how busy I am with the trade show side of my business, but it’s been quite a while since I actually showcased any exhibit photos. What follows is a gallery showing views of one spectacular project from the E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) show. Taking up every square inch of the LA Convention Center, E3 has to be experienced first-hand to be fully appreciated. Devoted to everything relating to computer gaming, all of the industry giants attend.
Wargaming.net, at 100 ft. x 100 ft. x 2 stories tall was, perhaps, the most impressive exhibit I’ve seen. And, as mentioned in the title above, IMHO, Wargaming.net was the heart and soul of E3.
The Trade Group, with offices in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Tulsa, Pittsburgh and Tampa/St. Pete, designed, built, installed and orchestrated every aspect of Wargaming.net. As you can see from the photos below, this was no mean feat. It’s an exhibit, broadcast studio, theatre and lounge, all rolled into one. Having built exhibits in a “previous lifetime,” I know what it takes. This was project management on a monumental scale (and it was just one of six projects at the show for The Trade Group)!
Getting the opportunity to capture this level of achievement is why I love what I do!
