We’ve expanded the class to four sessions that run from
9 am to 12 pm on consecutive Saturdays through October 22nd.
The first class will explore the basics of digital photography and concentrate on cameras and lenses.
The second and third classes will both focus on creating a working studio in a small space and lighting your work. During these two sessions, I’ll set-up a portable studio (created for under $75) and shoot jewelry pieces.
During the fourth week, we’ll wind things up with a short introduction to digital photo-editing and a brief discussion of marketing on the web (“…now that you have better photos, here are a few opportunities to market you work on the internet.”)
The classes will be held at the West City Center Campus of SDCE, 3249 Fordham Street, San Diego, CA, 92110. We’ll be in Room 206.
For those unfamiliar with SDCE procedures, there’s no pre-registration. It’s first
come, first served. Just show up the first morning. The fee is $60, with a $15
materials fee. The class filled up in July, so come a little early.
I’m excited. My aim is to help jewelry artists do a better job of shooting their work. I hope to see you there!
