Judith Moore is a good friend and wonderfully talented San Diego-based jewelry designer. There’s a sense of magic about her Milagros designs and assemblages. I love the balance inherent in all of her work. See many more pieces at http://www.wireadorned.com/.
Her “Heart in Hand Necklace ” was shot recently in my Escondido studio using a ‘trapeze’ mechanism to support the necklace and black glass for a backdrop. Two 500W softbox lights were used, with a mirrored reflector below. The piece was shot with a Nikon D300 camera and 60mm Nikkor macro lens.
