Mothers are precious.  For most of us, we only ever get one.  Okay, two, if you count mothers-in-law.  And they count.

Some we have for a very long time.  Some, sadly, not.

Connie Faulkner was  a gentle soul, a weaver, an artist.  And a loving, caring mother.  We lost her way too soon.

Ruth Rossman is sharp, funny and vital.  Going on 90, she’s still the best bridge player on the block.  And she’s a loving, caring mother.

Today (as all days) we honor them both.

Thanks John! This is one of Jonna’s favorite photos. Mine, too. Hope you are well.
