I went for a long walk on the beach below Torrey Pines State Reserve today with an old friend, and came upon these amazing natural “cliff-side paintings.” And here’s the equally amazing part: these shots were taken with my new little iPhone camera. I’m in awe of the quality capable with this device.
You’re looking at natural erosion and accumulation patterns on the side of a cliff face, shot at eye level from a distance of roughly 15 to 20 feet.
The third image is stitched together in Photoshop from the first two shots.
